Amazing trip to Paradise...Day 3

 We were blessed by the arrival of our dear friends Rey and his wife Kim and so we became the tour guides...

 They both absolutely LOVED it!

 The Napali Coast views never get old...

 Please don't freak my out like that Rey....

 So we decided to do the Awa'Awapuhi hike....wow...talk about an intense journey that was!

 But it came out to probably the most beautiful view imaginable! TOTALLY WORTH IT!

 We were all just shocked and amazed by the natural beauty around us...and we were all by ourselves!

 Then the boys got it in their heads to go "off-roading"...wow and Sergio is deathly afraid of heights

 Rey was lovin' it though!

 Caught this great look on camera! haha! He was telling me to sit down and slide down the narrow dirt path...looks like he was about to have a heart attack! haha

 But he made it! And didn't even shed a tear this time :)

 We had little guest visitors on the hillsides...it was covered in goats!?

Yeah...we didn't heed these warnings well enough...

Amazing trip to Paradise...Day 2

 We got to tour around in that bad boy for a week! Awesome...

 Our friends Priscila and Taj got to take us around the island and up to the north shore for the first time...

 Needless to say the drive was beautiful! Full of waterfalls and lush jungle...

 And not afraid of the water at all :)

 Sergio ventured off to take a look at this side of the Napali Coast...

 And I of course, followed him to see what he was up to...I always am up for adventures :)

Amazing Trip to Paradise...Day 1

 After a long break for the holidays, friends getting married, and a new business getting started up...I decided it was time to blog again :) Sergio and I were blessed by my Auntie Di to be able to spend a week on the island of Kauai...

 Sergio was most taken aback by the beauty of Waimea Canyon...he said he had never seen a beauty like it!

 He definitely adopted that walking stick...looks like Moses headin' to the promised land...

 This tree was clinging for dear life onto the edge of this cliff...no railings...nothing...just us and the cliff!

 The amazing part is that just on the other side of the Canyon is the famous Napali Coast! It was so crazy that we could see two totally different climates within 10 minutes of each other!

 The Napali Coast was incredible and breathtaking and everything that everyone says it is...unfortunately pictures don't do it justice and you simply need to experience it to believe it!

 We got to hike both ends of this beautiful coastline...quite the experience!

And yes...it was a miracle to see a patch of sun! hehe

Lisa Marie and Chris' Big Day...

 I had the privilege of being able to be apart of the "getting ready process"...it was great girl fun! Complete with brie, strawberries, and champagne...classy

 A few moments of nervous excitement!

 Beautiful, simple, yet elegant...I loved her hair!

An Amazing Day....

 What started out as a super rainy morning (filled with chai tea lattes and crepes at home) turned into one of my favorite days on the north shore!

 I got to do a quick session with Suzy and her two adorable ladies :) She has had a surf school on the north shore for over 12 years! It's always a pleasure to work with her...she has such a positive attitude!

 I got to meet several great people surfing at Puaena Point today...this lady and her husband were here from Australia...

 And this student was from Portland! YAY! And even knows several mutual friends...such a small world

And this lovely lady from Argentina! She surfed with such perfect form and grace ;)
After the surf sessions, Rey, Sergio, and I went fishing and caught 10 snapper in 45 minutes! WOW! God is good hehe :)
